Help! My Laptop Cloud Reset Keeps Crashing

I recently sold my laptop and tried to perform a cloud reset before handing it over. However, it gets stuck in a loop during the last stage of the reset. It crashes right when the next screen is supposed to load, then it shows the logo, says 'welcome,' and crashes again. I've waited over three hours for it to finish, but it just keeps restarting in this cycle. Does anyone have any advice on how to resolve this issue?

Thanks for that! It definitely clears things up a bit. You might want to check the photo for the exact screen you're seeing; sometimes a specific message can give hints on what’s going wrong.

Cloud resets aren’t always reliable. It might be better to create a bootable USB drive with the Windows installation on it. From there, you can delete all partitions and install a fresh copy. This is often the safest way to fully wipe a device before selling it.

Have you tried accessing the BIOS? Also, could you let us know what operating system you were using on the laptop? That might help figure this out.

Your description is a bit vague, which makes it tough to help. Can you share the exact model of your laptop and the OS version? Also, the steps you took for the 'cloud reset' would be useful. It sounds like you may have missed some details that are crucial for troubleshooting.
