I'm new to Linux and just set up CachyOS. My WiFi adapter is recognized as 'Realtek Semiconductor Corp. RTL8188EUS' when I check with lsusb, but I haven't had much luck finding clear, up-to-date installation guides. I'm worried it might be too outdated, and I'm not sure if I should just buy a new adapter. I'd love to get this one working, though!

Have you thought about trying to install the driver package from the AUR? You can run `paru -S 8188eu-dkms` in your terminal. That might help you get the driver working!

I tried that and ran into some errors, but it seemed like it finished installing. It did say to check a make.log for details if something went wrong.
