What’s Happening with Crucial RAM and When Will It Be Gone?

I've been hearing some buzz about Crucial RAM supposedly leaving the consumer market around the end of February. I've noticed that their kits are still widely available on platforms like eBay and Amazon, so I'm curious about what this means going forward. Do we just wait until these kits sell out? How long might that take, and will prices rise after that? Some folks out there think it won't matter much since Crucial hasn't been offering top-tier options, but for many users, their RAM has been a solid choice, especially with support for AMD EXPO and larger sizes like 96GB or 128GB.

Yeah, yeah—they've officially pulled out of the consumer RAM game, so the current inventory is all there is. People aren't snatching up what's left because of the high prices, so it's likely that you'll see these kits around for a while until the stores finally run out.

I actually snagged a kit just yesterday! It’s definitely possible to find them, but you gotta act fast before the supply really runs dry. Who knows how long it'll be before they're gone for good!

Where did you get it? I’m looking for a good deal.

The deal with Crucial is that they’ve stopped production, so everything you're seeing in stores is just what's left in stock. As long as demand stays low due to price hikes, the existing kits will still hang around for a bit, but once they’re gone, that's it for consumer-level Crucial RAM. Just a heads up, it might take a while for that stock to clear out!
