I just got my first PC at 21 years old and I'm eager to learn how to care for it to ensure it lasts long without issues, especially since it cost me €4300. I've heard that to shut down the computer properly, I should hold down the shift key for a second before shutting it down or to turn off fast boot settings—is that really necessary? What else should I keep in mind as a newbie? How do you guys deal with dust cleaning? Is it bad to turn the PC on and off multiple times a day? I'm really looking for advice and appreciation for any help!

Don't stress too much about the shutdown process! You can turn your PC off just like any other device, and there's no limit to how often you can power it on and off each day. If you're concerned about dust, a can of compressed air is perfect for cleaning it out—just remember to power down your PC before you do!

I heard compressed air can also cause file corruption. Is that true? Thinking about getting one from Amazon.
