Hey everyone! I recently got a Samsung 990 Pro SSD to upgrade my computer, but I only have room for one SSD on the motherboard. I need to transfer data from my old SSD to the new one, and I've heard about using a USB adapter to do this. Can anyone recommend a good, budget-friendly USB adapter for this purpose? I don't need anything too fancy, just something that works well for cloning my drive. Thanks a bunch!

If you’re looking at NVMe SSDs, most USB adapters should do the trick. I personally use a Sabrent adapter and it's been reliable for me. Just keep in mind that transfer speeds will be limited by the USB interface itself, so don’t expect lightning-fast cloning. Also, have you looked into PCIe cards? They can provide a way to connect multiple SSDs without using USB.
I bought this adapter from Amazon and it works great: [https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB45PRMF](https://www.amazon.com/dp/B0CB45PRMF). Just keep in mind that USB will limit the speeds, but for cloning your drive, it definitely gets the job done!
