Hey everyone! I'm reaching out because my PC has been acting up for the past two weeks. It turns on, the fans spin, but then it just switches off. I've swapped out three different power supplies, but the problem persists. I took it into a repair shop where they got it running fine for about five hours, and when I picked it up today, they said it was working great after installing a new power supply. Here are my specs:
- Intel I7-11700K (Eight-core)
- Nvidia RTX 4060 (8GB)
- CORSAIR RM850e Power Supply
- 32GB Corsair DDR4 RAM (2x 16GB)
- ASUS TUF GAMING B560-PLUS Motherboard

It sounds like a frustrating issue! Have you checked if the cables are securely connected to all the components? Sometimes a loose cable can cause this kind of problem. Also, what about your RAM? Did you try reseating it or running the system with just one stick to see if that helps? Let us know how it goes!
Have you tried plugging your PC into a different outlet? I know it sounds silly, but sometimes the outlet can be the issue! If that doesn't work, you might want to check for any short circuits or try removing any non-essential components temporarily.
Just to clarify, you mentioned that it was fine at the shop… Did they do any testing that could be different from your setup at home? Double-check that the power supply is compatible and fully functional, even if it worked at the shop. It's really perplexing!
