I'm looking for advice on file sharing solutions suitable for remote design teams that frequently use Adobe and Autodesk applications. Specifically, we need a central file storage system that behaves like a traditional network drive, which supports large files and allows for complex folder structures. It should work seamlessly with Adobe Creative Cloud products (like Photoshop, Illustrator, and InDesign) as well as Autodesk software (like AutoCAD and Revit). Performance over the internet is crucial since our team is remote, and we want to avoid issues like version conflicts, long sync delays, or file corruption. If your remote team has found an effective solution, I'd love to hear what you're using!

For remote teams using Revit, I recommend using Autodesk Construction Cloud (formerly known as Forma design collaboration) as a file host. Other solutions like Panzura, Nasuni, Egnyte, and SharePoint often have issues with Revit work sharing. Centralized computing solutions can help, but ACC might be your safest bet.
Make sure all team members have reliable internet connections. Your criteria might eliminate users with slower home connections. Have you considered using a low-latency RDP solution with nearby workstations or cloud setups?
I’m open to suggestions! Just gathering info on what others are using.
Zee Drive and One Drive have worked well for us in the past. They could be worth checking out for your needs.
Thanks! I’ll look into Zee Drive.
Using thin clients or budget laptops to remote into powerful workstations can provide a strong solution, especially with tools like Parsec or Teradici. This does rely on having a decent internet connection from a central office or data center, though.
We also explored Boxx Cloud but faced performance issues; speed is critical!
Egnyte is a solid option for storing and sharing files effectively. It’s been well-received for its user-friendly interface and reliable performance.
LucidLink is another option that’s gotten some positive feedback. Have you used it before?
I’m looking into it. Any specifics about your experience would help!

I mainly handle Adobe files since we don’t use Revit, but ACC seems important for Revit users!
