I'm trying to upload images from my camera to my phone, but I'm running into an issue. I've got an adapter connected, and my phone's settings indicate that the USB is in control. However, when I attempt to change this control setting, it tells me that I can't. Because of this, I can't access my pictures. What should I do?

It sounds like your phone might be detecting the adapter as a USB hub. This can sometimes happen if the connector is damaged or not great quality. Are you using a USB C to A converter for the connection?
