Help! My PC Keeps Crashing Due to GPU Driver Issues

I'm having a problem with my setup – it includes an AMD Radeon RX 7800 XT GPU, Ryzen 5 7500F processor, 32GB DDR5 RAM, and an MSI B650 Gaming Plus motherboard, powered by a GIGABYTE UD750GM 750W PSU. Whenever I use my PC for a longer period or play games like Valorant or Star Wars Jedi Survivor, both of my screens eventually go black, the sound gets choppy, and after about three minutes, my PC restarts automatically. I checked the device manager during the automatic restart and found that the GPU driver had deactivated, leading to issues with screen display. My drivers are up to date, and reinstalling the graphics drivers hasn't worked either. This has been an ongoing issue for around 3-4 months. All cables in the PC are in good condition, and there's adequate ventilation with four fans bringing air in and three exhausting it. During the black screen, pressing ctrl+win+shift+B doesn't help at all.

Got a few questions for you! Are you using three monitors, and does at least one have a refresh rate of 120Hz or more? If so, try switching from HDMI to DisplayPort for all your monitors. I had a similar issue with my ASRock 7800 XT, and this fix helped me out.

I actually have two monitors. My main one is an AOC at 280Hz connected via DisplayPort, and my second is a BenQ at 60Hz using HDMI (that one only supports HDMI).

Got it! For the BenQ monitor connected via HDMI, if it only has HDMI as input, consider getting an HDMI to DisplayPort cable to connect it to your graphics card. Just make sure it’s the right kind for signal direction: DP-out to HDMI-in.

Hey, quick question—what's your GPU temperature like when you're gaming? Just trying to pinpoint if overheating might be causing your issues. (Sorry if my German isn’t great!)
