Is Upgrading to 16GB VRAM Worth the Extra $150?

I'm trying to choose between two graphics cards: a 5060 Ti with 8GB of VRAM for $315 and one with 16GB for $477. There's a significant $150 difference. While I've heard that more VRAM is beneficial, I mostly play esports titles and just a little Tekken 8, mainly at 1080p. Is it worth spending the extra cash on the 16GB card?

If you plan to keep the card for a long time, 16GB is definitely the way to go. While 8GB might suffice for now, in a couple of years, new games may require more VRAM just to run. It's about future-proofing your investment and getting the most out of it!

It really depends on how you view gaming quality and longevity. 8GB should be enough for what you're playing now, but if you think you'll upgrade to a 1440p monitor or want to future-proof for AAA titles, go with the 16GB. You won't regret it

Yeah, and it's good to remember that 8GB might just barely cover your needs in a few years. It’s always better to have some extra VRAM for those demanding games!

Absolutely, it's worth the upgrade! Even though you're playing at 1080p, 8GB is quickly becoming outdated for modern AAA titles. When it comes to future-proofing your setup, the 16GB version will give you a better experience down the line. Don't skimp on it if you can afford it!
