I'm putting together my first PC build and would love some advice on how to improve my parts list. I want to make it more budget-friendly by finding areas where I might be overspending or where I can cut costs. My main goal with this build is to run Red Engine 9 and beyond. Just so you know, I'm planning to use 16GB of RAM that I'm taking from my old PC. Also, quick bonus question: would my old 1660 Super work fine for now until I can upgrade my GPU?

A few suggestions to save some cash: do you really need the extra hard drive space? If not, you can ditch the HDD and add more storage later if you find you need it. Your motherboard has built-in Wi-Fi, so you could get rid of the Wi-Fi card too. Also, think about swapping your motherboard for a cheaper one—there's usually a price jump for white components. And if you can, consider switching the 4070S for a 9070XT. Making these changes could lead to some significant savings!

Yeah, I totally get keeping a HDD for random stuff, but if you can manage without it for now, it’s definitely a good way to cut costs!
