How to Move an SSD from One Laptop to Another?

I recently got a new laptop, a Lenovo Legion 5, that already has a 1TB SSD with Windows installed. I'm looking to dual boot Linux and Windows since I need Windows for Photoshop for college. My old laptop, an HP Omnibook Aero 7, has a 512GB SSD with Linux Mint on it, and there's a free slot in the new laptop. How can I transfer the SSD from my old laptop to the new one? Any tips or precautions I should take? Thanks in advance for your help!

Once you move the SSD into the new laptop, you’ll need to choose which drive to boot from in the BIOS. There's a chance that secure boot may complicate things since a drive from another laptop might not boot up immediately. You might have to do a clean install of Mint later, with the other drive removed during the setup. So keep that in mind!

So, it's just a matter of unscrewing it from the old laptop and securing it into the new one, right? If secure boot prevents it from booting up, should I just disable that option in the BIOS?
