I recently bought a used computer that came in a very flashy white LianLi fishbowl case with a bunch of RGB fans and even multicolored RAM. That's definitely not my style! I'm in search of a more subdued case that blends in like furniture or HiFi equipment, and I'd prefer to avoid glass side panels since my PC is on the floor and a bit messy inside. I only do air cooling, so no complicated radiator systems for me. I'm also interested in any soundproof features the case might offer. I really like the subtle yet appealing design of the Mac Pro. Right now, I'm considering a few options such as the Fractal North, the Fractal Pop Silent, and the BeQuiet Pure Base, but I'm open to any other suggestions as well!

If you're considering solid side panels, check out the Asus Prime AP201. It’s minimalist and doesn’t scream 'gaming rig'.
Fractal Focus 2 is worth a look too. It’s affordable, discreet, and easy to work with. Perfect for a clean setup!
I have the Fractal North, and while I chose the glass version, it faces the wall since I don't need to admire the inside! They claim it has better noise isolation, though I understand you want to avoid glass.
Perhaps a vinyl-wrapped glass with sound deadening could work? Just feels a little odd for something that's supposed to be elegant.
You might like the Antec Flux SE. It’s modern, comes with solid side panels, and has a stylish walnut trim that could fit nicely in your space.
That sounds like a great option! Plus, it’s nice that it includes fans and has a built-in fan hub.
The Fractal North or BeQuiet cases are great picks! They definitely fit the bill for a more understated look. If the North is in your budget, I’d say go for that one! It really blends well with mid-century furniture.
True, it seems like those are the popular choices right now. It’s a shame more cases aren't designed to be less ostentatious and more like furniture, especially with the trend towards mid-century styles.

Definitely a solid choice, I can vouch for that one too!
