I need some help! I recently took my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3 for some routine maintenance, and to add an 8GB RAM upgrade. After getting it back, the laptop screen works flawlessly until I log into Windows. Once I enter my password, the internal screen goes black, and the only display I can get is through an external monitor. Has anyone had a similar issue? Do you think it's a simple fix in settings, or could there be a hardware problem from the upgrade? Any advice would be really appreciated!

I can totally relate to your situation! I once had a similar problem. It turned out to be a settings issue, so I woud definitely check that. But if it persists, you might need to take it back to the technician for them to check if something got messed up during the upgrade.
It sounds like the technician might have changed your display settings to use the external monitor as the default. After logging in, check your Windows display settings and ensure the internal screen is set as the primary monitor and isn't disabled.
That's really frustrating! It could also be a hardware issue, especially since it happened right after the RAM upgrade. Just keep pushing the technician for answers. If it's a display setting, you should be able to fix it easily, but you’re right to be anxious about potential hardware problems.
