Hey folks, I'm dealing with some serious issues on my Lenovo Ideapad Gaming 3-15ARH05 laptop. It's been freezing, showing black screens, and restarting on its own, and it's getting worse! I've had this laptop for about three years, and while it started crashing sporadically before, now it's happening 2-3 times a week, and just two days ago it began nonstop. Here's what I've tried so far: I ran various diagnostics on the RAM which came back fine, removed some Trojans with antivirus scans, and fixed corrupted Windows files. I even wiped the SSD and reinstalled Windows 11, but the crashes continue. The SSD health looks good, and temperatures are fine after cleaning it out. I'm starting to worry about losing my game progress during online matches! Is there a way to really confirm if my hardware is working properly? Any advice would be greatly appreciated!

Hey! Just as a precaution, make sure to back up all your important files before doing any testing or changes. Better safe than sorry! And it might help to double-check your SSD connections. Sometimes, even a loose connection can lead to performance issues.

It sounds like you’ve gone through a lot already! Since the crashes seem to be frequent and you’ve reinstalled Windows, I’d suggest checking your BIOS settings and making sure everything is up to date. Sometimes outdated firmware can cause issues like this. Additionally, running a stress test on your CPU and GPU might help identify any failing components. If it’s still crashing after all that, consider taking it to a professional to check for hardware issues.

You might want to consider a tool like Specify to gather more details about your system’s performance. It can provide insights into your hardware and OS that could pinpoint what’s going wrong. Here’s a quick setup: 1. Download Specify, run it, and let it analyze your system. 2. Share the generated link here so we can take a look. This info could be really useful for troubleshooting!

Have you checked the power supply? Sometimes those can cause random crashes or restarts if they aren't providing enough power. Also, if your laptop has any event logs, checking them could help you identify any troubling patterns or specific errors leading to the freezes. It might also be worth running a dedicated tool to check for hardware issues, like overheating or power issues.
