I'm looking for a good budget-friendly mATX motherboard compatible with the 9800X3D. Currently, I have a Gigabyte A620M Gaming X AX motherboard paired with a 7800X3D, a 5080 GPU, and 23GB of 5200MHz RAM (not using EXPO due to compatibility issues). Since I have a 9800X3D on the way, I'm concerned that my current motherboard may hold me back. I mainly play iRacing at triple 1440p resolution and also stream using OBS. My case is pretty compact, an Antec CX200M Elite, but I'm not experiencing heat problems.

Honestly, I think you won't notice much of a performance boost from upgrading your motherboard. Just plug in that 9800X3D and you should be good to go!
If you're looking to spend a bit, I recommend the B850M Force or maybe the B850MPOWER for around $230. Those boards have good features like an external clock generator. Plenty of options out there!
I’d say check out the Gigabyte B850M EAGLE WIFI6E or the Gigabyte B850M GAMING X WIFI6E if you're in the US. They're solid picks. By the way, why are you not using EXPO? Just curious about the compatibility issues!
Here's a good one I found— the Gigabyte B650M AORUS ELITE AX for $160. It has decent VRM heatsinks and plenty of USB ports. Also, consider the ASRock B650M HDVM2 which you can get for about $100; it's praised for good VRMs and thermals.

That ASRock board is a steal at that price! Plus, it has a reasonable number of ports and two NVMe slots if you ever need those.
