I'm currently using an O11 Evo Dynamic case but I'm looking to downsize to the Lian Li A3. This means I need to switch to a micro ATX motherboard and I'm thinking of upgrading from my 13600K CPU to a 9800X3D. Since I'm already using DDR5 RAM, I only need to change the motherboard and CPU. Can anyone recommend a good motherboard that has Wi-Fi, four RAM slots, and is under €150? Also, considering the 7800X3D is about €100 cheaper, would that be a better choice instead? My GPU is a 4070 Ti. Thanks for your help!

If you have a decent mid-high end motherboard with your 13600K, you might want to consider upgrading to a 14700K or 14900K instead, paired with higher capacity RAM. I've heard that AM5 and using four RAM sticks together can be tricky; it could boot, but you might struggle to achieve speeds over 5600MHz. Just a thought before you decide!
Yeah, I get that! I was thinking maybe a BIOS update could help with compatibility in the future. It's a bit confusing why it could be a hardware issue, though.
It depends on where you're located, but if you're using PCPartPicker, I recommend the 7800X3D. Honestly, you won’t notice much difference with a 4070 Ti unless you're into esports and playing competitively. Even then, the performance difference is minimal, apart from some edge cases in games like CS2 where you might see lower 1% frame rates. Overall, the 7800X3D provides a great experience without breaking the bank.

Are there any specific boards that can handle four sticks well? I have an MSI X670E Ti Edge and I'm considering a 9800X3D with G.Skill Royal Trident Neo 6000 CL28 RAM. You're saying there might be boot issues if I add two more sticks, right? Just trying to understand the potential problems here.
