I've been using a gaming laptop for the past seven years, and it's finally giving up on me. I've managed to save around £2.5k to build a gaming PC. I've done some research and spent time on PC part picker, but I'm not sure I'm making the most of my budget based on what I know. Any suggestions for recommended builds or specific components would be really appreciated!

The market's been a bit wild lately, so you have a few options. For RAM, consider going with DDR4 as it can save you some cash, but keep in mind this might limit your upgrade options in the future. As for graphics, AMD's 9060xt 16GB currently offers great value compared to Nvidia's 5060ti, especially if you're looking at 1440p gaming. But if you want the best frames and don’t mind the price, then it’s worth considering Nvidia for their DLSS feature. Let me know if you want me to help build a parts list for you! Just tell me your budget, case preference, and whether you need peripherals!

Thanks, this info is super helpful! Could you build me a parts list? I'm looking for an ATX case style. Currency is GBP. My brother is gifting me a cool 1440p 180hz monitor along with a mouse and keyboard!
