Why won’t my gaming PC run AAA games after a reset?

Hey there! I've been having a really frustrating issue with my gaming PC, which is a Skytech Archangel 4 with an AMD Ryzen 5 7600X processor, running on Windows 11. Even after trying all the typical troubleshooting methods, such as running the SFC/DISM commands and doing a factory reset while keeping my files, I still can't get most of the AAA games to run. This problem started around two weeks ago, but I only realized it when I attempted to play Roblox. I then tried launching games like Spider-Man, Cyberpunk, and Resident Evil, but each time they either crash shortly after starting, or I have to force them to quit, which also results in Steam getting stuck in "Stopping...". I'm not sure what has gone wrong—could it be driver updates, a Windows update, or possibly a malware issue that didn't show up on Malware Bytes? I'm not very tech-savvy, so any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

It sounds like your PC might be trying to run the games without a dedicated GPU. Just to clarify: do you not have a graphics card? Because if you’re relying solely on integrated graphics, that could definitely explain the crashes. If you do have a dedicated GPU, you might want to check if your drivers got messed up during the reinstall process. If they did, you may need to manually switch back to your dedicated GPU in the settings.

I actually do have a GPU! But that makes me wonder—could it be that after uninstalling and reinstalling my drivers, the system defaulted to using integrated graphics instead?
