How to Remove a Specific URL from All Outgoing Emails in Office 365?

I have a client whose email signature includes a URL, but the new Microsoft settings are flagging it and causing all outgoing emails to get quarantined. We've removed the URL from new emails, but the issue persists with replies or forwards that still contain the outdated URL. I've tried using rules, connectors, and spam filters to remove it, but I'm not having any luck. Any suggestions to solve this?

You might be able to fix this issue with a transport rule. It could help streamline the process!

Is the URL actually malicious or just flagged? If it’s not a harmful link, you can report it to Microsoft as a false positive, and they might allow you to add it to the safe list. If it is malicious, unfortunately, there might not be an automatic way to rewrite those emails. Maybe let staff know to manually search for the URL and remove it for a bit.

You’d think Microsoft would have a way to redact the URL using the Purview DLP policy. I'm not sure if that’s the solution, but it’s definitely worth exploring.
