I'm looking for some solid recommendations for a cloud camera system for my office. We currently have IP cameras but the vendor we've been using has really dropped the ball in the past few years. They used to be great before COVID, but now they struggle with licensing renewals and getting us quotes on time. I want to explore other options before I start requesting quotes. What systems are you using that you can recommend?

I prefer using Reolink cameras with a Reolink NVR on-premise. I set it up on a separate VLAN because I tend to have trust issues with cloud services.
We've been using Solink for a while, and it has been pretty reliable for our needs.
In my previous job, we worked with Verkada and Meraki. Just a heads up, there was a major security incident with Verkada a few years back, so it might be worthwhile to check if those issues have been resolved before diving in.
If your budget allows, I'd suggest looking into Avigilon. They have a really robust feature set.
Eagle Eye has treated us well for cloud solutions, though we go through a local third-party for support and licensing. Overall, their camera issue support has been solid.
That sounds interesting! What's been your experience with their support? We've had mixed results.
