I'm building my first PC mainly for gaming but will also use it for some productivity tasks in a couple of years. My budget is around $2000, and I'm aiming for a smooth and seamless experience across the board. I'm considering using the Ryzen 9800X3D chip with an RX 9070 graphics card, but I've seen various bottleneck calculators suggesting there might be issues. Can anyone provide advice on whether this build is advisable? If stuttering is a concern, the X3D is indeed a good way to go. Buy your components without overthinking them! Most configurations will run fine together, especially with your chosen RAM.
Consider if you really need that high-end CPU with a mid-tier GPU; it can create an imbalanced setup. The 7800X3D is fantastic and using it with a better GPU like the 9070XT can give you a much better overall experience in gaming.
