Hey everyone! I'm new here and ready to retire my old PS4. I'm looking for a solid PC setup that'll handle single-player games like *Witcher 4* and *GTA VI* with decent graphics. I want to aim for **1080p** at **60 FPS**.
**Budget:** Around **€500 to €800** (just the tower, I already have a monitor).
**Here's the deal:** I'm a total newbie and a bit of a penny-pincher. I want to get the best bang for my buck and I'm willing to build it myself to avoid the markup on pre-built systems. I don't mind using second-hand parts, but I'm uncertain if that's a good idea.
1. Is €800 enough considering the 2026 DRAM shortage?
2. Should I go for an **RTX 5060** or would an **AMD (RX 8600)** give me better value?
3. Is it worth investing in the **AM5 platform (Ryzen 7600X)** for future upgrades, or should I stick to a cheaper **AM4 (Ryzen 5600)** build to save money?

Going for an AM5 build is going to stretch your budget too much, so focus on getting the most performance from AM4.
