I'm working on some coding projects with Claude, but I'm running into a problem. No matter how I ask, Claude keeps trying to output multiple files at once, and it usually hits character limits for responses. I've tried different phrasings, but nothing seems to work. Is there any trick to get it to just provide one file at a time instead of multiple modules?

Try asking Claude to combine everything into one file instead of telling it not to give you multiple files. A positive phrasing like 'Please put everything in one file' might be easier for it to handle.
Yeah, I’ve noticed that too. When I just want to tweak a small part of the code, it ends up rewriting whole sections instead. It’s frustrating when you’re just looking for a quick fix!
If all else fails, you could consider upgrading to a better version of Claude or trying out Gemini for different results.
You might want to use the command to write directly into your codebase. Alternatively, prompt Claude by requesting a single 'file snippet' and ask for approval before moving to the next step.
