Can the Ryzen 7 8700G Integrated GPU Support High Refresh Rate Monitors?

I'm putting together a new PC build using just the integrated graphics of the Ryzen 7 8700G, specifically the Radeon 780M, without a dedicated GPU. I'm looking into high refresh rate 1080p monitors (like 120 Hz, 144 Hz, 165 Hz, or even 180 Hz), and I have some questions.

Can the 8700G's integrated GPU run these monitors at their full refresh rates on the Windows desktop and during general usage? Or am I going to be stuck at 60 Hz because I don't have a dedicated graphics card? I'm not asking about frame rates in games, just the maximum refresh rate the monitor can achieve.

No, you won't be limited to 60 Hz! The iGPU should be able to handle the refresh rates you're looking for. Just keep in mind that hitting those higher frame rates, like 144 or 180 fps in games, depends on the titles you want to play. If you're not gaming much, that shouldn't be a problem for your desktop tasks.

I’m building this PC mainly for cybersecurity work and lab tasks, so gaming isn't my focus. I just want the integrated 8700G to smoothly drive a high-refresh monitor for a better experience with VMs and network tools.
