I have a new Poco F7 that I was using to play Roblox with friends. I fell asleep while playing and left my phone under a blanket. When I woke up, the phone was extremely hot, and the battery had dropped to 2%. I couldn't even quit the app because it was so unresponsive. After cooling down, I saw the battery temperature was still at 50 degrees. I'm worried that this overheating may have damaged my phone. Is there any way to prevent this from happening again?

Don't stress too much! I've dozed off on mine too, and it got pretty warm. It looked fine after, so I wouldn’t worry unless you see physical damage.
Seriously, keep your phone out from under the blankets! Don't sleep on it or charge it while it's buried like that—it's risky!
It's not ideal, but it might have put a bit of extra wear on the battery. Phones usually have safety measures that shut things down if they get too hot. Just be cautious moving forward.
You're probably fine! Overheating can happen with buggy apps, so just try restarting your phone. It's a solid habit to get into anyway.
No worries, your phone should be okay! Just avoid letting it get so hot again.

Totally! I learned the hard way too. Phones need airflow to cool down properly.
