Issues with Dell Command Update Reboot Notifications

I'm having a really annoying problem with Dell Command Update on Windows 11. It seems that on some systems, the reboot notifications from DCU just flash for a moment and then disappear. Because of this, users never actually see the toast notification or the option to postpone the reboot, and they have no idea that a reboot is coming up. However, DCU still tracks the deferrals as if the user chose to postpone them. Eventually, the device hits zero deferrals left and forces a reboot without any warning. I'm curious how other IT admins are handling Dell Command Update to prevent this from happening.

Could it be that your users have their Windows notification settings adjusted to hide or remove? If it's just one person having this problem, that might be the case. But if it's happening organization-wide, then it might be something else.

All our settings are deployed via Intune, so even the users can’t change them.

I'm not experiencing any issues on my end with Dell Command Update. Everything seems to be functioning normally. Perhaps you might want to check if there’s a specific setting causing the issue on your end.
