I've been using a GTX 1660 Super for a while, but I just got a 2080 Ti and installed it to run the FNV Nuclear Sunset mod pack. Right now, I'm on a Thermaltake 600W 80+ Gold power supply. I've ordered a Super Flower 850 80+ Gold PSU, which will arrive on Friday. My question is whether it's safe to use the 2080 Ti with my current PSU for the next few days while I'm playing games like FNV and FO3. My GPU usage seems to hover around 60% when gaming and streaming on Discord for a few hours at a time. Am I at risk of damaging anything?

Since it’s a reputable brand, your PSU should automatically cut power if it’s struggling, which protects your components. Just be aware that there’s always a slight risk with underpowered supplies, but for just a few days with lighter games, you should be okay. I suggest using MSI Afterburner to tweak your GPU’s power limit just in case!
Your Thermaltake PSU is generally solid, and as long as you're mindful of the load, you should be fine. It’s good to keep an eye on the power limits, but if you're playing not-too-demanding games like FNV, it shouldn’t draw too much power. You can check your PSU's specs in that list I linked—it's pretty detailed for peace of mind!
So, are the negative reviews mostly about older models or the budget series from Thermaltake?
Are you using a super high-end CPU? Because the 2080 Ti only requires about 250W, which shouldn't be a problem for a quality 600W PSU. Plus, with your GPU running at 60%, it likely pulls less than 100W on average; it’s all about balancing your components!
Nope, just running an i5 10400F!

Good advice, thanks!
