Should I Upgrade My PC Hardware?

Hey everyone! I'm wondering if it's time to upgrade my PC. Currently, I'm using an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor at 3.60 GHz and an Nvidia RTX 2060 Super. In League of Legends, I usually start with around 130-140 fps, but during 5v5 fights, it drops to about 100 fps. Even when I switch to the lowest graphics settings, I can barely scrape by with 20 fps at times. I've also been playing Deadlock, and I'm noticing a similar issue where my fps drops to as low as 60 during fights, although it's smooth at the start. Is this a sign of a problem, or should I just consider upgrading my components?

I suspect thermal throttling too! You might want to consider reapplying thermal paste if you haven't done that in a while.

I checked while gaming, and my GPU usage is at 25% and 50°C, while my CPU usage is around 50% and 65°C. I haven't changed the thermal paste in years, so maybe that's the issue.

It sounds like your GPU or CPU might be thermal throttling during those intense moments in games.

Honestly, I think it's just time to get some newer hardware. Your CPU and GPU are on the older side, and they've been around for about seven years now, so they might be showing their age a bit.

That's exactly when I built this PC. Thanks for the insight; it looks like an upgrade may be in order!
