How Can I Turn Off the Caps Lock Notification Popup in Windows 11?

I'm having a frustrating issue with my custom built PC that's running Windows 11. Whenever I press the Caps Lock key, a gray popup appears at the top of the screen showing a padlock with an 'A' inside and saying either 'Caps Lock On' or 'Caps Lock Off'. This is really getting in the way while I'm gaming and I'd love to know how to get rid of it. I've already turned off Toggle Keys and tweaked notification settings under the Accessibility options, and I've looked through my monitor settings but didn't find anything useful.

My setup includes an Asus motherboard, an Alienware monitor, a Logitech G715 keyboard, and a G502X mouse, along with Logitech's G-Hub software. I haven't installed other Logitech software like Logi Options, and I'm not sure if this is stemming from Windows, my monitor settings, or some other software. Any tips would be greatly appreciated!

Another option is to avoid using Caps Lock altogether if you can create macros with other keystrokes, like Shift or Alt. This way, you wouldn't even have to hit the Caps Lock key, which might prevent the popup from showing up at all. Just a thought!

That popup is most likely being generated by the Logitech software, but if exiting G-Hub didn’t help, you might consider uninstalling all Logitech applications and switching to generic drivers to see if that eliminates the notification.

Uninstalling is a good idea, but I'm pretty dependent on G-Hub features. Are there any specific settings I should look for in G-Hub to disable that notification instead?

It sounds like this isn't a Windows setting but rather something managed by another program or possibly your BIOS. If you have any software related to your peripherals besides G-Hub, like Corsair ICUE or Asus Armoury Crate, those could be the ones responsible. You might want to check their settings for any notification options.

I have Corsair ICUE and Asus Armoury Crate installed too, but I couldn't find anything in their settings related to the keyboard notifications. Any suggestions on what to do next?
