I'm a student who needs to edit a Microsoft Word document for an assignment. The catch is that my school exclusively uses Google Docs, and I'm doing this as a makeup for an absence. I don't have direct access to Microsoft Word, and I'm a bit lost. I keep reading that I should go to the 'file' menu, but I can't find it anywhere! How can I edit this document?

You can upload the Word file to Google Docs and edit it there. Once you're finished, just download it back as a Word file! It’s pretty straightforward.

Could you explain how to upload it? I'm not really sure about that part.
