Hey everyone! I'm looking to upgrade my GPU from an RTX 4060 Ti to an RTX 5070 Ti. Currently, I have an Intel i5-13400F, and I'm considering upgrading to an i7-14700F. My main question is: will the i7-14700F work well with the 5070 Ti, or will it create a bottleneck? Also, should I just stick with my current Intel setup, or is it worth moving to an AM5 platform with DDR5 RAM later on? I primarily use my PC for gaming. Thanks for your insights!

There might be a slight bottleneck, but if things are running smoothly for you now, an upgrade isn't urgently needed. Just upgrading the GPU should suffice, especially if you're concerned about DDR5 prices. If you're thinking about keeping the 4060 Ti for a dual GPU setup, that could be a fun option too!
Nah, you shouldn't worry about needing to switch to AM5 right now. The i7-14700F should handle the 5070 Ti just fine, especially given how pricey RAM is at the moment.
Good to know, thanks for the reassurance!
If you're gaming at 1080p, there might be some bottlenecks, but for 1440p and above, the setup should be pretty smooth!
Definitely consider it a solid match! The i7-14700F + RTX 5070 Ti combo is perfect, especially if you game at 2K resolution. If you've got a 2K monitor, this upgrade will be awesome, so go for it!
Yeah, I do have a 2K monitor, so that sounds great, thanks!

That sounds feasible! I might consider it.
