Help! My ASUS laptop won’t power on after shutdown

I shut down my ASUS VivoBook laptop yesterday, and today when I tried to turn it on, absolutely nothing happens—no lights, no sounds, it's completely dead. I've tried plugging it in to charge, but the charging light isn't coming on either. I held the power button for 90 seconds, but that didn't work. I'm really in a bind because I need to get this laptop working for something important today. The specs are Ryzen 3 3240U, Radeon Vega 3 graphics, and 8GB RAM. Can anyone help me troubleshoot this?

If you're comfortable with it, maybe try to remove the battery? If it's faulty, it won't allow the laptop to power on. But if you're not tech-savvy, I understand that's a big step to take!

You might want to try doing a hard reboot. Hold down the power button for at least 10 seconds. Sometimes laptops get stuck in a weird hibernation state, and this can help wake them up. If that doesn't work, it might be something more serious, like an issue with the battery or power supply.

Have you tried holding the power button down for longer? One time I had to keep mine pressed for almost 5 minutes before it finally turned on. It's definitely frustrating!

My ASUS laptop had a similar issue. I recommend unplugging the charger from both the wall and the laptop for a few minutes, then plugging it back in and trying again. It worked for me!
