iPad Connects to WiFi but Can’t Load Anything – What to Do?

I'm having a massive issue with my iPad that I can't seem to fix. It connects to WiFi networks, but nothing loads. I've tried multiple networks, including hotspots and public WiFi, but the iPad just won't connect properly. It's definitely not a WiFi problem because all my other devices, like my phone, laptop, and gaming consoles, work fine. This started only a couple of days ago, and it's really frustrating since I haven't used the iPad much in the past week. I've done some troubleshooting like resetting settings, adjusting the date and time, and even deleting DNS, but nothing seems to help. The only option I have left to fix it is a factory reset, but I can't do that without turning off 'Find My iPad,' which also needs an internet connection. Anyone have any advice?

Have you checked if you have any unused VPN configurations? Go to Settings > General > VPN & Device Management and see if you have anything set up that you don't need anymore. Sometimes that messes with connectivity.

Yeah, I had used a VPN for a while but deleted all the configurations. I even reset the network settings and set the DNS manually, but I still got a brief connection to Google before it dropped again.

You might want to try putting your iPad into recovery mode and then restoring it using a computer. There’s a way to do this without disabling 'Find My iPad.' Just check out the Apple support page for the exact steps!

That sounds like a solid plan! I had to do something similar once, but it can be tricky if your work laptop doesn't allow USB connections. Hope you find a way to borrow someone's computer!

If you have an Ethernet to USB adapter, you could try that to get online. It might bypass the WiFi issues you're having.

Make sure you've specifically reset your "network settings" as well! It’s different from other resets and might help fix the issue. There's a guide on the Apple site if you need it.

Tried that too! It's become a bit of a wild goose chase at this point.
