I've got a brand new Server 2022 instance that was running perfectly until the wsman folder in C:windowssystem32 disappeared. Now WinRM isn't working correctly, and Exchange is completely down. I'm in a bit of a bind here because I'm looking at an 8-hour drive just to fix it unless there's a way I can remotely repair this issue. Does anyone know how to restore that wsman folder without being on-site?

The best approach here is to restore from a backup if you have one available. Unfortunately, it sounds like your situation might get complicated since Exchange will likely be messed up afterwards.
Honestly, if I were you, I might consider just starting over. Quick steps:
1. Keep the Active Directory computer account.
2. Wipe the machine.
3. Reinstall Windows and update it.
4. Rename it to match the old one.
5. Reset the AD computer account.
6. Join the new machine to the domain; it'll recognize the existing account.
7. Install all Exchange prerequisites, then restore it in recovery mode.
I know it sounds like a hassle, but if you follow these steps carefully, you’ll have everything up and running smoother than before! Just make sure the drive letters match to avoid any mess with paths.
I’d really like to avoid the drive, but you might be right about starting fresh. Not keen on spending the weekend cleaning up someone else's mess!

That’s rough! I get that backups might be a couple of days old, but that could be your quickest route.
