Will a 600W PSU Be Enough for My RTX 5070 and Ryzen 7 5700X3D?

I'm wondering if my 600W 80 Plus Gold BeQuiet PSU can handle my setup, which includes an RTX 5070 and a Ryzen 7 5700X3D. I've seen recommendations suggesting at least a 650W PSU, but I'm not really keen on upgrading. Given my specs, is my current power supply sufficient?

Honestly, a PSU is one of those things you might want to think about future-proofing. Newer graphics cards and CPUs are getting hungrier for power. Unless your 600W unit is already something you own, I would suggest looking into a higher wattage PSU for peace of mind. You might need it down the line!

You can check out pcpartpicker.com to list your components and see the estimated wattage at load. It's a good idea to have some extra headroom since components can draw more power than they're rated for at times. That said, your setup with the 5700X3D and RTX 5070 shouldn’t be too demanding overall.

For my rig, it estimated around 540W, so it sounds like you should be close!
