Why is traffic still going to a disabled origin in Front Door?

I've been experiencing an issue with my Front Door setup. I have an origin group with two origins: one is an app gateway (priority 1) and the other is a web server (priority 2). I disabled the web server origin expecting all traffic to route through the app gateway. However, even after 24 hours, traffic is still splitting about 50/50 between both origins. I've verified that the origin group shows only the app gateway as enabled through PowerShell, and my log analytics query reflects the same findings. Is this a common issue? Should I contact Microsoft support for assistance?

Sometimes changes in Front Door can take a while to propagate fully, even if it looks disabled. You could give it a bit more time or try redeploying the route to trigger a refresh.

But 24 hours seems excessive! That shouldn’t be the case.

You might want to try toggling the origin off and on again. Sometimes that’s quicker than waiting for Microsoft to respond!

If that doesn’t work, consider recreating the origin group entirely; it might solve the issue.

It sounds like there's a glitch. I'd recommend raising a support ticket since you’ve already tried to disable it. It seems like others have faced similar issues, so it might be a bug.
