I've noticed that while using Windows 11, my Microsoft account username and email are shown in various places, like when I access the sound settings. It's quite unsettling to see this information pop up, especially when sharing screens. I'm really looking for a way to completely disable Windows from displaying my Microsoft account details. Can anyone help with this?

I’d say the concern is valid to some extent, but unless you're in a situation where someone might see your screen, it seems a bit excessive to worry too much about it. If it's really bothersome, consider using a local account for most of your activities.
One effective way to keep your account info hidden is to create a separate local admin account and use that for day-to-day tasks. This should help you avoid having your Microsoft account display everywhere. Just make sure you still have access to your main account for anything that needs it!
If you’re using a Microsoft account, Windows shows that info in settings because it syncs certain features across devices. It’s designed for convenience, but I get why you’d want to hide it. Just be aware that even if you use a nickname or fake email, your data can still be pieced together by data brokers.
