Which is Better for Gaming and Video Editing: AMD or NVIDIA?

I'm looking to get a good graphics card that can handle both gaming and video editing, especially since I'm interested in animation as a future hobby. I've been considering the AMD 9070XT, but I want to know if it can match up well against the NVIDIA RTX series for editing and animation tasks. The price difference is quite significant, so I'd love to hear your thoughts on whether the 9070XT is a viable option compared to something like the 5070 series.

The 9070XT is a solid choice for gaming, but when it comes to animation and video editing, the 5070 Ti has the edge. If you're serious about content creation, I'd recommend going with NVIDIA since a lot of industry tools are optimized for their CUDA technology, and their NVENC encoding is highly regarded.

Honestly, the 9070XT does handle video editing decently, but it doesn't quite stack up against the NVIDIA cards like the 5070 Ti. Look at the pricing, though. The 5070 Ti seems priced out of reach right now; it may be better to focus on the 5070 or stick with the 9070 or 9070XT. The 5070 Ti is pretty much a dead option given the current prices unless you can find it at a good deal.

I've seen the 5070 is getting some negative reviews. Should I just keep the 9070XT for both gaming and editing, or is moving to the 5070 worth it?
