I'm wondering if pairing an RTX 5070 with an Intel i5 13400F is a good setup for gaming at 2K resolution. I also have 32GB of RAM. Would this combination work well together? Thanks for any insights!

That combo should work well. At 2K settings, the GPU does most of the heavy lifting, so the CPU shouldn't hold you back too much.

It really depends on the games you're playing. Some titles like Hogwarts Legacy may show performance hiccups due to the CPU, especially at 1440p. If you can, go for the 13600KF, as it's significantly better for gaming.

I think there might be some bottleneck issues with that setup. You might want to consider upgrading to an i7 from the 13th gen for better performance overall.

Honestly, you should look into the RTX 9070. It could give you more bang for your buck compared to the 5070.
