I'm having trouble turning off content restrictions on my iPhone. I've never set up any parental controls, just a study app that I limited screen time for. Now, when I try to disable the content restrictions, it asks me to sign in as a parent or guardian. This is weird because my parents don't even have Apple phones, and my Apple ID indicates that I'm over 18. Anyone know how to resolve this?

You might want to try uninstalling the study app you mentioned. Sometimes these apps can create policies that restrict content, even if you didn’t mean for it to happen. If your Apple ID is locked as a child account, that might be why you're seeing those messages.
I did uninstall the app, but it’s still showing that my account is locked. What can I do next?
