How Can I Remove Old Online Posts That Keep Appearing in Google Search?

I've noticed some old posts from a fanfiction request I made years ago on Tumblr are popping up when I search for my online handle on Google. It's really stressing me out because I'm worried about people in real life finding them. I'm looking for advice on how to delete or hide these old posts from search results. Any tips?

Consider changing your Tumblr handle a few times. It might not delete the content but can help push it down in search results.

Welcome to the internet! This is one of those tough lessons we all learn. It's a wild world out there with digital footprints that sometimes just won't go away.

If you're in a country that values privacy rights, you might be able to request Google to hide certain results. Check out Google's help page on this!

First, try removing the content directly from Tumblr if you still have access. Delete the post or make your blog private. After that, submit a "remove outdated content" request to Google, so they update their search results. If you can't access the account, it might be worth trying Tumblr's support for help.

If you’re in the USA, getting an app like DeleteMe can help clean up your online presence. Worth looking into!
