Hey guys, I'm trying to find the best way to back up my photos and videos from my Android phone. I've heard about options like Telegram and Signal, but I'm unsure how reliable they are for storing media long-term. Google Drive seems like a solid option, but I'm curious about what services you all prefer for keeping your media safe. Any recommendations or personal experiences would be appreciated. Thanks!

I also use Google Photos, but I like to back up my stuff on a home PC once a month too. I organize everything by year and month, and I have a second USB drive as a backup. It's saved me a few times!

That sounds like a smart strategy! Double backups are always a win.

If you're already using OneDrive on your desktop, it automatically backs up your photos as well. Super convenient!

I personally recommend Google Photos. It's super easy to use and has great integration with Android. The automatic backup feature makes life a lot easier!

I prefer using a small external hard drive; something tiny like 1 or 2TB. It's the safest option for me!

Just a heads-up on Google Drive, make sure to read about some privacy concerns before diving in. That said, it’s one of the cheaper options out there. Check out comparison sites to see what fits your needs best!

Thanks for the warning! I'll definitely look into the privacy aspects.
