Is the i7 7700k still a good choice for gaming in 2026?

Hey everyone! I purchased my PC some time ago, and I'm currently using an i7 7700k processor. Lately, I've noticed that it struggles to keep up with the latest games. I'm not very tech-savvy, and I could really use some advice. I'm considering upgrading to a Ryzen 7 5700x to improve my gaming experience. By the way, here's my setup: RX Radeon 6600, 4 Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 8GB RAM sticks, a Hikvision G4000E 512GB SSD, and a Kingston 1TB HDD.

I suggest considering your budget first. The AM4 platform is cost-effective right now. For a tight budget, the Ryzen 5 3600 or 5500 could work, while the Ryzen 5 5600 or 5600x are solid mid-range choices. If you're willing to spend more, the 5800x3d could be a great upgrade!

I live in Brazil, so all PC components are extremely expensive....
