Hey everyone! I'm currently using a Ryzen 5600X paired with an RTX 3070 at 1440p, but I've noticed that my CPU maxes out before the GPU is fully utilized, which is a bit frustrating. I'm considering an upgrade and spotted some bundles at Microcenter. There's a 265K bundle that costs the same as a Ryzen 9700X bundle, or I could spend an extra $100 for the 9800X3D bundle. I probably won't change my GPU until later this year, and I enjoy gaming as well as coding. Any suggestions on which upgrade path to take would be really appreciated! 😀

I think the 5800X3D would be perfect for your setup since it's great at utilizing both the CPU and GPU without needing to blow your budget on a whole new motherboard and RAM. You'll save money for a bigger upgrade later!
If you can swing it, go for the 9800X3D if your budget allows. It should give you the best performance in gaming and future-proof your setup a bit. If that's stretching it, the 9700X is still a solid choice for gaming and coding.

I hear you, but the 5800X3D can be hard to find without paying a premium these days. If you're looking to upgrade now, that Microcenter deal sounds pretty tempting!
