Is My PC Ready for 4K Gaming?

Hey everyone! I'm currently playing games on a 1440p setup and getting about 55-60 fps on ultra settings in GTA 5 Legacy. I'm thinking about upgrading to a 4K OLED monitor, but I'm not sure if my build can handle it. Here are my specs:

- GIGABYTE B850M C WIFI 7
- RYZEN 7 9700X
- ZOTAC RTX 5080
- 64GB KINGSTON FURY 6400MHZ CL32
- 2TB LEXAR NQ780 GEN 4
- 850W THERMALRIGHT GOLD

Any insights would be appreciated! (Oh, and I meant GTA 5, not 6—oops!)

You might want to lower your graphics settings a bit. Running everything on ultra can really tax your GPU for not much gain in visual quality. If you optimize your settings, you might see a significant performance boost. Plus, enabling features like DLSS could really help too!

Alright, thank you for the tip!

Good catch on the typo! But seriously, when can I get my hands on a copy of GTA 6? 😂 Just kidding!

Haha, I didn't mean to create that confusion!

I'm almost certain that you're running GTA 6, not 5! Also, how come you're only hitting 55-60fps? Others seem to get around 120fps easily, so there must be something affecting your performance. Just checking!

I'm actually playing the enhanced version and it runs at 180+ fps, but in Legacy, it's capped at around 60.

Sounds like you might have V-Sync on, which can limit your fps. Double-check your settings to see if that's the case. And hey, you did accidentally post about GTA 6, so don't worry about it!

I turned off V-Sync, but thanks for the reminder!
