Help! My Game Won’t Open After Messing with User Folder Properties

I was playing Arknights: Endfield on my PC and tried to free up some storage. I ended up messing with the user folder properties and now nothing is opening. I attempted a local reinstall of Windows and preserved my files. After that, I deleted the game files from the D drive where I store my games and reinstalled it, but it still doesn't work. I'm running Windows 11, and I updated it after the reset. Can someone help me figure this out?

Make sure that your antivirus isn’t blocking the game from opening. Sometimes, security settings can flag new installs or updates, causing them not to launch. Additionally, verify if all your drivers, especially the graphics driver, are up to date. You might also want to try running the game as an administrator.

It sounds like you might've accidentally changed some critical settings in your user folder. Have you checked to see if the game files are actually intact? Sometimes, the install can get corrupted if the user properties were altered. Double-check the folder permissions and make sure they’re set to default. If that doesn't work, you might need to manually delete any residual files left over from the previous install before reinstalling again.
