What’s the Best Upgrade for My PC: Monitor or Specs?

I'm currently running a Ryzen 7 5700X with a 3080 Gaming Trio Z, plus I have 32GB of DDR4 RAM at 3000 MHz and a 1080p 144Hz VA monitor. I'm considering upgrading to a 1440p IPS 32" monitor but I'm wondering if I'd be better off upgrading my motherboard and getting a Ryzen 7700X along with DDR5 6000MHz RAM first. I feel like my GPU is still decent enough for now since the performance boost from a new one seems to only be around 10-20%. I also have a 750W PSU, so power isn't an issue.

Honestly, your setup can handle 1440p gaming just fine. I'd hold off on upgrades for now and see how it performs with the monitor first. You might find it meets your needs!

That’s good to know! My only concern is when I multitask—like using Blender while gaming. Do you think it’ll handle that well?

Upgrading your monitor sounds like the best move right now! I recently switched to a 32" 1440p, and it's amazing. The clarity really adds to both gaming and work.
