I've lost my backup codes for Instagram's two-factor authentication, and I'm currently unable to access my account. I don't have any devices where I'm logged in, nor do I have a trusted device marked. After a factory reset on my phone, the backup codes are gone and I didn't manage to save them in Google Photos. The authenticator apps on my device don't have anything either, and I don't have a trustworthy device at the moment. I do still have access to the email account I used to create my Instagram account, but no phone number or Facebook is linked with it. I really need to log back into my account; it's important. Any suggestions?

I've been through the same thing, and let me tell you, it can feel hopeless. If you didn’t have any photos or personal info connected to your account, it's likely that recovering it will be difficult. I couldn't get my account back either. Just make sure you keep looking for support options on their site.
It sounds frustrating, but honestly, nobody can really help with account recovery in cases like this. Your best bet is to reach out to Instagram's support directly. They should have a way for you to verify your identity, even without those codes.
