Why Is My New Computer’s Wifi So Slow?

I recently bought a new desktop computer that's equipped with onboard wifi, but I'm facing some issues. The connection is extremely slow, and the Bluetooth functionality isn't working either. To improve things, I purchased a USB wifi adapter, but my speeds still fluctuate between 100-200mbps, sometimes dropping as low as 6kbps. I've been averaging about 700mbps on my old Lenovo Legion laptop and would love to achieve something similar with my desktop. Is my wifi card upgradable, or do I need to consider changing my motherboard? I can also share some pictures if needed!

Are you using the antenna that came with your onboard wifi? That can really impact your speed! If it's not positioned well, you might not get the best connection.

Yeah, it came with an antenna which I’ve screwed into the back. But when I unscrew it, my speeds drop to like 7mbps!
